Blake Griffin – Is he human?

Just look at this picture for a minute or so. Let it soak in. I have a feeling you’ll be seeing dunks like this from Griffin for years to come. In case you are confused by the photo, Baron Davis lobbed the ball out of the sunroof of the car towards the center of the hood; Griffin leaped over the whole hood of the car and slammed the ball in the basket with both hands. My question is, did anybody really expect anybody else to win the 2011 All Star Slam Dunk contest? I mean, come on, ESPN has some of their ‘Top 10″ segments dedicated to just him. Griffin, who technically is still a rookie due to his injury from the 2009-10 season, is on top of the candidate list for the ROY award. If this guy can stay healthy, he could become the best big guy in the league for a long time. Another cool little tidbit is that he won the Slam Dunk contest on his home floor in Los Angeles, this probably has not happened too much in the history of the ASG.
