What is with management/coaching these days? Seriously, first we have the Steinbrenner’s bashing Jeter, their captain. This goes along with my first post. Then we have George Karl of the Denver Nuggets bad mouthing Carmelo Anthony’s defense after he was traded?
Seriously, show some class and just shut up. You make your organization and team look ridiculous with shenanigans like this. Not to mention this can stir up the locker room in the wrong ways.
Jeter, as always, showed class and brushed off what was said – he still has five rings. Carmelo Anthony tweeted “WHEN THE GRASS IS CUT THE SNAKES WILL SHOW.” This has to be directed in Denver’s direction. Don’t worry Coloradans, Carmelo is back home. I wouldn’t be surprised if Melo puts up 40+ against Denver the next time the Knicks play them. Remember what Lebron did to the Cav’s? Yeah, he put up 38 points.
