No applause. Just opinions.

An 80’s baby by the name of Iván Nova is making some waves. Sure, Phil Hughes was an all star last year, but we know he is good. Nova could have the stuff too. The Yankees situation is actually quite unusual for me considering that when I was growing up the Yankees used to be one of the oldest, if not the oldest team in the majors. That is not the case anymore, they are now ranked 11th in a league of 30.

Nova pitched six scoreless innings tonight with no hits and four strikeouts. It wasn’t perfect, but it was enough to show that he has the capability to do something special for the Yanks. He should and probably will be a starter at least for the beginning of the season. Throw him the in the four spot in the rotation and watch him dazzle, much like Phil Hughes did last year. Iván only pitched 42 innings last season, so remember he is still eligible for ROY.

He is a SuperNova to be.
