Who would have thought that the Knicks were on the brink of being swept and eliminated from the playoffs? Well, a lot of people said they wouldn’t even make it to the playoffs. They were a considered a team in ‘transition’ and needing just one more star to make them a force to be reckoned with.
Let’s be honest this isn’t the Knicks year. Honestly, I still could bite my tounge with this one, but I am pretty confident in saying that only because every team that has gone up 3-0 in NBA playoffs history has won 100% of the time. Hey, anything can happen, but I don’t think the Knicks have what it takes to beat the Celtics four times in a row. Maybe they’ll take one, or even two. Maybe they’ll want to get Boston back for what the Sox did to the Yanks in the 2004 playoffs. Alright, enough of the maybes, I just think that it’s not going to happen, sorry hardcore Knicks fans.
The Knicks need do something in order to win. It is hard to determine what it is, but some will say it’s a coach, some will even say it’s the GM. I personally think they need a more solid PG. Chauncey is great and a star in his own respect, but he is aging, and now injured. Chris Paul would be fantastic for the team and could happen. Deron Williams could always jump ship. Honestly, only time will tell, we have to wait for the offseason to see what happens.
