Diving back into my highly biased, and highly opinionated thoughts on sports. Welcome back, all, if any of you are left.
Who would’ve thunk it that a 36 year old Giancarlo Stanton would run the base paths like he was still on the Marlins, when he was playing against the… Marlins? Not me, that’s for sure, but I’ll take it. He stole a base. He’s hitting .393 eight games into the season, which leads the team may I add. Sure, it’s a small sample size, but the man formerly known as Mike is in his playoff form. I just hope that it continues at least for a little bit before he takes his seasonal siesta(s).
The Yanks are 7-1. Tied with their best start to the season ever. This team has a chance to make history. Will they do it? If Giancarlo keeps stealing bases, and mashing the ball I think they have a good chance.
